The benefit to benching heels back is increased positioning. Most people can set up with their chests higher. Which in turn creates a shorter press

The trouble most run into is that they try to initiate their drive too late. To create and maintain that increased position you need to keep the heels driven down from the start

Doing so will make it easier to control the bar down and you will not need to travel as far. I demonstrate the difference in this Mondays video!
