Do you lift your head while you bench? You may want to rethink that! What typically happens is your chest tends to follow and you quickly drop positioning. Even if you don’t think you’re dropping positioning, even worse, you’re not going to be able to create that upper back tightness
It’s a bad habit that many tend to have and I’ve been there. Sometimes it’s hard to shake just because its such and intuitive habit at this point. However if you shake this bad habit you will be better off!
