This is a topic I’ve been keen on lately so I’d appreciate everyone sharing this info, because it’s a missing link in so many lifters bench

We get the idea of using leg drive to keep ourselves tight, to drive the hips closer to the shoulders. We understand how important the lats are in bending the bar and keeping us tight. But what about our upper back?

We need to be utilizing our upper back correctly in order to drive our shoulder blades down to our hips and cap off complete back tightness. This is a big topic as of late as I’ve been finding lifters are not doing this

Please take a look at the concept I’m trying to get across here and perform this in your next bench session. The results should speak for themselves. You need to actively be driving the shoulder blades down to the hips

Hope you all have a fantastic Friday! Its Bench Day!
