BIGGEST TIP FOR BENCHING INJURY FREE
Unfortunately, bench pressing heavy gets a bad rep for being destructive on the body and bad for your shoulders. A lot of people are unable to perform a bench press without discomfort and it doesn’t have to be like that
The single biggest tip I can give is to make sure your shoulders are set back in a good position. We actually want to try to eliminate as much shoulders as possible during the movement!
This starts with making sure you’re properly tucking your shpulders underneath you on the set up and you aren’t losing this on the take out
