This is the single biggest tip I can give someone regarding the bench press!
Stop killing your recovery and ingraining poor technique! You don't have to take sets to failure everytime to get stronger!
Training submaximally at RPE 7 or 8 where you're leaving reps in the tank will get you stronger and you'll become a better bencher!
Work to make every rep look the same, every rep be explosive, and leave a few reps in the tank and you'll gain plenty of size and strength!
